Doesn't seem fair that everyone died in the Flood except Noah, his family, and Charlie Kirk.

Yes ... hahaha ... yes! My dumb Discord joke is the headline! Also, I am so insanely jealous of your David Grann advance copy. Once April arrives, I'll be camping out by the mailbox every day waiting for my pre-order to arrive.

Yeah, I want to spray everyone who gets weird about woke with water like a bad cat.

I stopped reading movie and series reviews on IMDB because of the idiots giving one star because "it's woke". The Disney movie Lightyear was "woke". Cast a strong female lead, a BIPOC lead, or a LGBTQ character and it's woke. Include the environment in the story line and it's woke. Personally, I would love to give a swirly or at least a throat punch to anyone using the word in this context.

Have y'all seen the Instagram account Hets Explain Yourselves (https://www.instagram.com/hets_explain_yourselves/)? I'm waiting to see how they'll respond to this latest rainbow kerfuffle 🤦‍♀️

Are these people going to outlaw leprechauns and pots of gold too?

It remains my hope that as earth recedes ever further into their anti-woke rear-view, more and more culturenauts will fall off the rocket and join the rest of us living our lives like normal people instead of glued to the two-minute rage on our screens (literally typed screams, saw the Freudian slip, and fixed it).

It's unfortunate how much of the internet is built on the engagement of anger, and this is the latest shade of it. The least we can do is laugh at people who do not know the most famous album cover of all time. Or are upset they find an animated candy less attractive.

The whole Pink Floyd rainbow "controversy" is a new low to dumbness by the right. My gawd, they need to get it together! And Lake Street Dive!!! Love them!

AAANNNDD, this is why I stay out of the comments section (and Twitter), except for Substacks I actually love. Because otherwise I would just walk around hating people and feeling stabby all the damn time. Thank you for, once again, explaining a thing I've seen float past my attention in my newsfeed and knew I couldn't follow up on on my own for fear of courting my hatred of humanity.

My recent read was Lauren Fleshman's "Good for a Girl". Made me grateful to have a female cross country coach in high school who never (to my recollection) made me question my weight or the need to lose it to gain speed.

For the record, the homosexual agenda (and the trans agenda) is human rights and THAT SAYS A LOT ABOUT PEOPLE WHO CLUTCH THEIR PEARLS OVER IT.

"Heaven forbid we give rights to queer people! Then we might have to treat them LIKE PEOPLE."

Well done. Keep the dinguses coming.

I've appreciated your earlier work on Grassley and your take on Alyssa Carson kerfuffle.

Thanks,

Thank you for the link on the power of yarn. I participated in a few craftivism projects through loveacrosstheusa.org and it’s wonderful to create a small piece of a project with people from all over the country to create a larger message.

Finding the ketchup/catsup is easy. Finding the little tins of green chillies is the problem. Enjoy Lake Street Dive!
